Quite simply, its looking at the current practice and the ‘what’s possible (within current constraints)’ and identifying the gap. And (as the name implies) analysing it.
Looks like I’m going to have a lot of fun with this.
Why do we (in millions of organisations) do things the way we do? (when it’s much easier to do it demonstrably massively better?
In the meantime, the Celebrity Chef Spreadsheet Challenge is …. (guess what?) a research initiative for EUC Gap Analysis.
