This made me chuckle!
While going round introducing ‘outside-the-box’ ideas in organisations I always get asked this question, without exception. (Note, this is only because the idea we implemented is not in any books or training courses)
Client says “Who else knows this stuff/has these skills? We need more people like you“.
Okay, Okay. I know it’s a common phrase used in flattery.
Then someone pointed out …
“Hiran, that’s what people often say to people they LIKE. If anyone said that to YOU then they (genuinely!) mean you must have done something quite remarkable!”
